COVID-19 is causing the shutdown of bars and restaurants and affecting thousands of employees across the country, leaving some wondering where their next paycheck is coming from.

Those who work for and rely on tips are the ones who will be affected the most. These next couple of weeks will be very tough for all of those employees.

But there have been some good news stories surfacing from all this. An anonymous customer at Irma's Southwest in Houston left a $9,400 tip shortly before Houston closed all of it's bars and restaurants. The anonymous customer wrote "Hold tip to pay your guys over the next few weeks," on the receipt.

Although the eatery will remain open as "take-out" only, they were able to split that tip with each employees getting about $300 each.

Every little bit counts right now as we work through this.
