45 Years Ago – Beatles Go Gold with Yellow Submarine

It was on this day in 1969 that the Beatles Album, "Yellow Submarine" was certified Gold.  Not only did it contain the hit "Yellow Submarine", but also the mega classic "All You Need Is Love".

Don't forget that in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Beatles appearing on the Ed Sullivan show, this weekend K1017 will be celebrating with a double shot of Beatles at the top of every hour, all weekend long.  It all begins Friday at 5 pm, on K1017.
