41 People Arrested in Texas Opioid Sting

Yesterday dozens of people were arrested in a "Pill Mill" Sting.

KHOU reports that 41 people down in Houston were arrested ranging from Pharmacy owners, Medical providers, Drug dealers, Clinic owners and more.

According to their report, The U.S. Attorney's Office said those arrested are "responsible for the distribution of approximately 23 million oxycodone, hydrocodone, carisoprodol pills".

The sting included immediate suspension orders on seven pharmacies and two medical providers, with Federal Agents obtaining 36 search warrants on a number of pharmacies medical providers, offices, residences and more.

Charges also suggest doctors and pharmacies had knowledge the drugs were being prescribed for no legitimate medical purpose.

We won't even touch on how this translated to operations in the streets!
