KWTX's Drake Lawson reported that the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Community Fair took place in Waco on Saturday afternoon.

The event took place at the Waco Multi-Purpose building, which was actually previously Paul Quinn College.

The event was put on by Rapoport Academy Public School, and the turn out was beyond great. Hundreds of students learned about everything from financial aid, admission requirements, and college courses.

AKA Waco President Connie Nichols said, "They're also learning exactly what you need to do in your senior year, junior year, sophomore year, and freshman year to prepare you."

There were also classes available about the FAFSA, money management, and ACT/SAT Testing.
