Welcome to 2017!

It's a new year, which usually means new goals, new hopes and a new outlook on life. Here are a few sights of Texas you should check out if you haven't already. And if you have seen some of these places, share with us what your bucket list adventures will be for the year 2017.

For those of you who are new to Texas, or have been procrastinating about exploring the state. Here are a few places you might want to check out in 2017.

  • Hamilton Pool

    Swimming Hole

There are those who say that this is one of the most lovely places in the whole state of Texas. Others admit that those people... might be right.

  • T.C. Lindsey Gereral Store

    Jonesville, Texas

If you're one of those "shoppers", then a trip to Jonesville is a must. The T.C. Lindsey and Co. General Store has been in operation since 1847 and represents everything Texas is about.

  • Nacogdoches

    Oldest in Texas

If you're going exploring, then a stop at the oldest city in Texas is a must. At least you can do is find out how to correctly pronounce it.

  • Cattail Falls

    Big Bend National Park

Any chance to see an 80-foot waterfall cascading down a mountainside into a crystal-clear pool without a passport is a must.

  • Battleship Texas

    Houston

Commissioned in 1914, this ship is the last to have fought in both World Wars. You haven't experienced Texas history without a stop on this big gun.
