The International Ice Cream Association has taken on the arduous task of figuring out what’s the most popular ice cream flavor in the country.

In a cold truth, vanilla topped the list, edging out chocolate and butter pecan, while coffee, Neapolitan and Rocky Road all tied for fourth place.

As for toppings, pecans is the most popular nut, ahead of almonds and peanuts. In the race for favorite fruit, strawberry emerged victorious, while cherry placed second.
