What Would You Do if Your Time was Limited?

This week, I finallyset up my TiVo box - I am a workaholic - and I am receiving all the channels local stations and the cable company provide. As a fan of classic TV, I enjoy watching MeTV and CoziTV.   One show that I had never seen was Run For Your Life, starring the handsome method actor Ben Gazzara.  A lawyer with no family ties or strong roots to anything, is given one or two years left to live. His goal is to squeeze as much live into what little time he has left.

What a great premise for a show!  It allows them to place their telegenic star (think a more ethnic Jon Hamm) into all sorts of exciting situations fitting for the swinging spy 60s. It also touches an existential chord: what if you were given a short time to live...what would you do?

Do the miracle of YouTube, someone has unearthed the original pilot episode which ran as installment of NBC's craft suspense theater. It is now been posted in its entirety.
