I'm Jamie Garrett, brand leader for KLTD-FM. The Killeen/Temple radio market has long been void of a radio station that reaches adult listeners that don't listen to country music. As of Monday, March 18th, 2013 at 6:00 am CDT KLTD-FM will flip formats to what's known in the radio industry as classic hits. Central Texans will come to love it as K 101-7...Central Texas' Greatest Hits. From the classics of the 60's in the Rolling Stones & the Beatles, to Fleetwood Mac in the 70s and Hall & Oates in the 80s, K 101-7 is your more-music at-work radio station. Nobody will play more music for your workday than K 101-7.

There will be plenty of exciting upcoming debuts on K 101-7. James Harrison in the morning will take to the airwaves weekdays at 6am beginning March 25th. You'll also get a guaranteed 101 minutes of commercial-free K-Tunes to start your workday at 9am. Your lunch hour just got more entertaining with the commercial-free K Cafe weekdays from noon-1pm. The Biggest of Shows, hosted by Big Q, will help finish out those last few hours of the workday from 3-7pm, and he'll host the K-Cruise weekdays at 5 o'clock, an hour of non-stop K-Tunes.
