It's week 3 of Temple Wildcat football, and we're proud to bring you another edition of the Coach's Show took place with Coach Scott Stewart and myself, Oliver Stone.

We began with a discussion about the Temple Wildcats' victory over the Round Rock Dragons by a score of 48-14.

Coach Stewart discussed many great gains that we saw in the growth from the first game against Belton to the game against Round Rock, as well as the benefits of playing a rigorous non-district schedule versus playing a lackluster non-district schedule.

We also discussed this week's opponent making the drive down Interstate 35, the Waco Midway Panthers. The Panthers are also 2-0, and beat a notable powerhouse in the Class 5A ranks in their first game of the season. The Panthers beat the Cedar Park Timberwolves by a score of 35-28.

Coach Stewart said, "This group of Panthers may be one of the best teams we have faced since I have been here at Temple." Their offense has five Division 1 commits, and four of the their other starters have many Division 1 commits. The Wildcats should be in for quite a test, and definitely are looking at this game with a "measuring stick" point of view.

I also interviewed Associate Head Coach Josh Sadler and Offensive Coordinator Craig Martin about the Panthers defense our Wildcats will have to deal with this week. The Cats are making preparations for the Panthers, chomping at the bit to get on the field this Friday.
