Watch Newly Crowned “Skunk Boy” Perform a Rescue

Jeremy Lorenti has a new nickname "Skunk Boy". (I named him that) That's because he rescued a distressed skunk who had a cup stuck on his head. 

It happened on Main Street in West haven Connecticut.  Jeremy and a friend were on their way to Walgreens when they came upon a confused skunk walking in circles in the middle of the road.  He had a cup on his head so he couldn't see a darn thing!  While they were figuring out what to do, two cars ran over the skunk! But he was not squished!

Jeremy decided he had to help.  You can watch the whole ordeal.

Long story short,  Jeremy cautiously threw a blanket over the skunk and probably said a silent prayer to keep the smelly stuff inside.  It worked!

"No stink whatsoever," Jeremy posted on Reddit. "I'd like to think the skunk somehow knew I was trying to help it."

In a Disney cartoon, Jeremy would take the skunk home and hilarity would ensue.  In reality Jeremy ran one way and the skunk ran the other!
