As we slowly move towards the end of 2013 we should all take a moment to recognize the many, many, many TV shows that came to an untimely end this year.  Some were cancelled, and others wrapped up after multiple seasons, but they were all something special to someone.  Here is a little slide show that shows every single network television show - 97 in total- that were cancelled in 2013.

Just as a quick side note, there is a special someone that I would like to dedicate this post to: "Big Q" on our sister station, K101.7.  A few years ago he suggested I watch a show that had been out for a while and I had never even heard of and I was immediately emotionally attached to it.  I was watching episodes back to back only to finish the season and find out that it was cancelled with no real ending.  When I went to him in disbelief that there was no ending, he laughed at me.

This year, a show that was very close to Big Q's heart was cancelled and I think there is some type of saying about this particular series of events. "Kharma is a...".  I forget how the saying ends but you get where I am going with this.

Lets all have a moment of silence for Big Q's favorite show that got cancelled...

"The Wizards of Waverly Place".

Just kidding, Q.

"The Glades" reached their demise this year and it totally ended on a major cliff hanger. Payback!

Also ending this year on their own terms were two great shows:

"The Office"

"Breaking Bad"

Not being allowed to leave on their own terms were two other shows that I really enjoyed, but evidently not many other people did:

"The New Normal"

"The Wedding Band"
