The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for most of Central Texas until 6 PM this afternoon. The change for rain is at 90% for the rest of the night.

A Tornado Watch has been issued for Bell, Limestone, McLennan, Hill, Milam, Bosque, Falls, Robertson, and Coryell Co until 6 PM. Showers and storms could impact the area for the rest of the weekend. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

'Scattered to numerous' showers and thunderstorms are on the way this evening. Heavy rainfall will be the main threat along with the severe storm threat south of I-20. Damaging winds could accompany these storms. The tornado threat is for areas from Waco southward according to the National Weather Service.
