TISD Holding Ceremony for AP/IB Students

Temple ISD is holding a ceremony in the library of the high school to honor several students graduating with International Baccalaureate (IB) diplomas, as well as other Advanced Placement (AP) and IB honors. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1st and will be the official cap to the 2016-2017 school year.

Among the group being honored at the ceremony, there are 7 IB diplomas, 33 IB certificates, and 19 AP Scholars. The AP Scholars include 3 with Honors, 2 with Distinction, and 1 International Diploma recipient.

This is an amazing achievement for all of the students involved. The ceremony is a way to show how much THS and TISD appreciate and acknowledge these students' hard work before they leave to attend prestigious institutions.
