Hey Gang, Time.com has a device that will predict how popular names will be in 25 years. Assistant research professor in statistics at Virgina Tech, Chris Franck, develop a predictor on how a name will rise or fall in the next 25 years. He based it on by examining the performance of earlier names that followed similar patterns of popularity. Growing up the names Michael and Stephanie always seemed to be the most popular names each year, but now you hardly ever hear of those names being dropped as even possibles. If you punch them up in the Baby Name Predictor you'll see a major drop off in popularity.
