Third Copperas Cove Shooting Suspect in Custody
A 21-year-old man wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of a teen in Copperas Cove has been arrested in California.
KWTX reports that Andrew Sommervold was arrested and charged with murder in Contra Costa County, California on Sunday.
Police believe Sommervold, along with 17-year-old Jamiroquai Ejiawoko and 23-year-old Joshua Vega, was involved in the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Larry Anthony Quinn Thomas on November 9.
Ejiawoko and Vega were arrested earlier this year. A third suspect - a female juvenile - remains at large.
The shooting occurred shortly before 10:15 PM in the 3000 block of Bonnie Lane. Police say Thomas was shot in the head following an argument with the suspects. He had moved to Copperas Cove six months prior to the shooting, and was killed shortly before his 18th birthday.
