THE HORSE WENT IN. THE HORSE CAME OUT…EVENTUALLY.

You can lead a horse to water, but you gotta knock his butt out and call in 12 firefighters if you wanna lead him out.  Okay, imagine this. You come home, set your keys down, step into the backyard and discover...yes, there's a horse trapped in your pool.

Sure.

The story is this horse, one Stormy, was given a free pass to wander at will around it's owners property and wound up as a giant frightened equine pool floatie.

Firefighters were called into to the rescue and, this being a horse wacked out on fear biscuits, a veterinarian had to called in to tranquilize the frightened animal before Stormy could be extracted from the water. My favorite part is after the removal, you can clearly hear on of the dozen firefighters, once the horse is poolside, ask, "Now what?"

And if you listen close, you can also hear the horse snoring, like a great big sleepy doggie lounging on the porch, only it's a horse, dragged up on the lawn by firefighters.

The good news is, the horse will be fine. The pool itself could not be reached for comment.
