Oh, you crazy people. Just cos they did it on the t.v. doesn't mean you have to keep doing it in real life, okay? Let's call a halt on this gag, for sanity's sake. This...is Breaking Pizza (*music sting*)

The hotel from The Shining, the park where all the Anchormen do their battling, the Brady Bunch house. These are actual places, where real people live. You can even purchase Ferris Bueller's house, last time I checked. There's a kind of aura about a place where a film was shot, a bit of a fantasy world somehow wedged into our reality. Or abandoned. Working in Austin, I even felt it when I realized I was standing in a parking lot where a scene from the film Slacker was shot. A web search bring thousands of then and now pictures. Some people go out of their way to visit these locations. And other people, well, they take it just too damn far.

Once upon a time there was this guy named Walt...

That was shot at the Albuquerque home of Frances and Louis Padilla. They have been there for forty years. It's also Walt's home in Breaking Bad. Show creator Vince Gilligan has stated that some folks...a lot of folks, have taken to re-enacting this scene. Cos..ha ha. Can you imagine being an elderly person who totters out to check the mail only to not only find people staring at your house, but also a pizza stuck to your roof, everyday? Arrrgh, THE SCRAPING!

"People live in these houses," Gilligan said in a recent Esquire article. "They're trying to go about their lives just like we all are ... If you see anyone acting like an asshole, well, I'm not saying go after them personally or anything, but maybe take down their plate number. Something within reason."

Or send Mike after them.

However, if you would like to continually throw pizzas on the roofs of everybody who worked on Glee, I support that one hundred percent. Or pudding balloons, whichever.

P.S: Speaking of films, check these out. It's DAVE'S ON FILM!
