It seems that movie studios are a bit tired of going head-to-head against other big name movies, so they're releasing them earlier. Yes, "Furious 7" has set a new trend. But the best is yet to come.

I was actully planning out my summer movie watching last week when Tan the movie Man told me I was wrong. I thought "Avengers: Age of Ultron" came out at the end of May. Nope, turns out it's out on May 1st.

May 15th is going to be tough for me. I'll be torn between these two gems.

or should I go to this...

If only Anna Kendrick could be in everything.

My sleeper pick hit for the summer comes out on June 5th. I feel you can team Melissa McCarthy with anyone and you'll have a hit. That theory gets tested this summer as she teams up with action movie star Jason Statham for the movie "Spy".

The rest of June seems a little weak to me with this reboot thing coming out on June 12th.

And this unnecessary sequel on June 26th.

Of those two, I'd imagine that "Jurassic Park" would be the better choice, unless you love the Boston accent.

July 1st peals it off for the ladies with the release of "Magic Mike XXL" .

That same day we get a new "Terminator" movie. Really? Have not killed this dead horse yet, because I'm tired of kicking it.

July 17th we go back into the Marvel Universe with "Ant-Man"

We wrap up July with another impossible mission. Hang off a plane and make a 100 million dollars. "No No, I said Hunt..Hunt"

Maybe its because August is a few months away, but I've seen the full list of movies, and I've never heard of half of them. Do we really need yet another "Fantastic 4" movie? Well you're getting one on August 7th.

August 14th is coming "Straight Outta Compton"

And the biggest shock I got while I looked at the list, was sequels to "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" and "Hitman", both coming out on August 28th. Not a bad way to end the summer.
