So who is this Texas Lightning of which I speak?  Well, they are a group of guys from Temple. You may even know some of them.

Texas Lightning really likes coming out and playing for the city of Temple.  Band Member Todd says, “One of the best things about Hot Summer Sounds is that it is family friendly. We see folks of all ages rocking out to these classic American songs in the park. Little kids love the live music and their parents and grandparents love hearing all the southern rock songs.”

Bring something to sit on, blankets, chairs or  air mattresses. Bring a cooler full of cold drinks and food, or you can buy from the vendors.  There is a splash pad for restless children too.

This is the whole summer lineup.
