Arnold Schwarzenegger is 67 years old, which makes the idea of him playing an ageless, robotic killing machine in the upcoming 'Terminator: Genisys' seem oh-so-very silly [Ed. note: as silly as that title?]. However, it turns out that there's some fairly level-headed science fiction going on the explains Arnie's senior citizen appearance in the new film and it came courtesy of the franchise's original creator, James Cameron.

James Cameron has applied his fondness for 3D technology to the world of 'Avatar,' and he even gave his blockbuster 'Titanic' a 3D conversion for a theatrical rerelease. But what about some of his other films -- specifically, the 'Terminator' movies? According to Cameron, a 3D version of 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day' is a possibility.

After months of rumors and auditions from seemingly every up-and-coming actor in Hollywood, the rebooted 'Terminator 5,' officially titled 'Terminator: Genesis,' finally found its Kyle Reese. Australian actor Jai Courtney landed the role, which will see him appearing alongside franchise star Arnold Schwarzenegger and 'Game of Thrones' breakout Emilia Clarke.

Just when you thought franchise-connectivity news was at an all-time high this week -- with 'X-Men: Apocalypse,' its 'Fantastic Four' tie-ins, and every other big-budget property under the sun -- in comes a new 'Terminator' TV series in development with Paramount, said to connect to the upcoming rebooted film series! Hooray for things!

Earlier this week, we got word that 'Terminator 5' would set up shop at Paramount Pictures, a new home for the franchise after two lackluster films with Warner Bros. But what did that actually mean for the movie? Sure, it had a new home, but does that actually get us closer to seeing 'Terminator 5' in theaters? It turns out it does. Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke out today, confirmed his involvement
