A recent FX promo for 2018 brought not only our first look at Legion, but also an urgent reminder – Archer’s back, baby! Yes, our favorite animated super-spy is finally moving from Dreamland to Danger Island, as FXX sets an April premiere with a new look at the ninth season.
Archer bosses wasted little time in warning that Season 8’s Dreamland reboot might not last, and Season 9 is now a tale all its own. Executive producer Matt Thompson confirms that Archer Season 9 will relocate to Danger Island in 1939, refreshing its character relationships once more...
One wonders if Archer Season 8 will actually take time to spell out the nature of its Dreamland makeover, but a flurry of new trailers should also help do the trick. Probe the noir world of Season 8 a little more deeply with not one, but six new trailers for the April premiere, including some fresh looks at characters we haven’t seen much of yet.
There’s a mystery dancing around the edges of Archer Season 8, which reboots its core cast and premise to that of a noir Dreamland after that deadly Season 7 cliffhanger. There’s plenty of mystery in Dreamland as well, judging by the first full trailer.
And lo, FX has descended from upon the mountain to lay out our TV future for the next few months. Schedule-wise, at least, we know know when The Americans and their quaint Russian spy antics will return for Season 5, as well when Archer will enter “Dreamland” in the spring.

I'm a big fan of the "Adult" cartoon. One of the best out there right now is "Archer" on F/X. The new season premiere happens on Monday the 13th of January.
