Crazy as it is to think of Arrow In Space, the emerald archer’s DC crossovers are no weirder than Supernatural hanging out with Scooby-Doo. Might that one day give us Sam and Dean v. Queen? The Supernatural stars aren’t so sure.

It was Stephen Amell who first opened the door for Arrow and Supernatural to share the screen, stating in a recent Facebook video “That’s really up to Jensen and Jared … it really would be about finding a moment in their schedule to make all the fans happy. I’m totally up for it. I’m not trying to pass the buck, but the buck is now sitting at their feet.” Conan O’Brien brought up as much to Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padaclecki in the first Comic-Con Conan, though the pair downplayed the likelihood (while taking a dig at Amell):

Ackles: It would be odd, you know? ‘Tonight, on Law & Order … Arrow!’

Padalecki: Stephen’s a big guy … but I think he’d want some apple-boxes and stuff to stand on, so it might never happen.

It’s no stranger than any prior Supernatural concept episodes, which apart from Scooby-Doo have included musicals, meeting the real Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, and Japanese game-shows. In any case, we’d guess it more likely that Supernatural somehow found itself crossing paths with a DC hero, rather than break too much reality within an episode of the Arrow-verse.

In the meantime, Supernatural Season 13 is gearing up for another spinoff, while both Arrow and Supernatural will reveal more at Comic-Con 2017.
