If you stayed awake until about 9 or 10 last night you probably heard the line of thunderstorms passing over Bell County just as the Tornado Watch ended (10 pm).

The city of Hearne, Texas posted photos of storm damage on social media after the storms passed showing damage to buildings and even the city Christmas Tree which was pushed over in a local parking lot.

Heavy rains also caused street flooding in Killeen. The 3100 block of Edgefield Street in Killeen was closed on Wednesday night due to high water.

The town of Hearne shared several photos on it's Facebook page damage to buildings. The force of the storm even caused the town Christmas tree to be pushed into a nearby parking lot.

Much cooler weather is on the way for the rest of the week with night time lows in the 30's. The cold front moving through Texas is expected to bring light snow to most of Oklahoma and North-Western Texas by Saturday.
