The thing I love the most about working at K101 seven is that we only play the hits, and it's the hits that bring back the memories.  I'll be sitting in the studio, in the re-enforced air-chair, and hear a song, and then be transported back to a moment in time.  This is what happened recently when "Sir Duke" from Stevie Wonder hit the speakers.

As soon as the first notes hit I was thrown back in time to when the family decided to travel to Seattle Washington, from Minot North Dakota, to see some relatives.  I remember being in the back seat of an Opel with my brother.  No one was in a car seat, and no one had any seat belts on.  Not that it mattered anyway since the Opel was a coffin with wheels.  This song made me pay attention to the radio for a few minutes, which meant piece and quite for my parents.  I kept searching up and down the dial for that song, hoping to hear it again.  To this day this song make me smile.
