Shooting in Killeen Leaves Man Dead on Cantabrian Drive

Killeen police are investigating after a man was fatally shot on Cantabrian Drive Monday night.

KWTX reports that police responded to the 2900 block of Cantabrian shortly after 10:40 PM and found the victim lying in the street outside of his home. He had several gunshot wounds.

The victim was declared dead at the scene shortly before midnight. His identity was being withheld in the early stages of the investigation.

KWTX reporter Kathleen Serie reported that several people witnessed the shooting, including an 8-year-old girl. Police were interviewing witnesses Monday morning in hopes of identifying a suspect.
