Shooting at Irving’s North Lake College Appears to Be Murder-Suicide

Two people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide at North Lake College in Irving, Texas.
WFAA reports that three gunshots were heard on campus shortly before Noon. By 1 PM, police had determined that there was no ongoing threat, but they were combing the campus to ensure everyone’s safety.
KTVT reports that the male suspect was found dead along with a female victim in a science building.
Witnesses reported hearing shots, then seeing people duck into classrooms or run. Video posted to Twitter showed officers securing an area outside of a library as students stood by waiting for an all-clear.
