Hey, who doesn't like porn posts on Twitter? It seems Texas Senator Ted Cruz doesn't want to...rise...to the occasion and fess up.

Oh sure, we'll soon hear how he got "hacked". Or maybe this is how social media handlers quit their jobs. Like in radio, when a disillusioned DJ does something unspeakable on their boss' desk. The results the same. You quit, and they get to spend some time cleaning up your mess.

The San Antonio Express News reports that Senator Cruz, who has more than three million followers on Twitter, "liked" a two-minute porn video clip on Twitter from the account @SexuallPosts.

Of course @SexuallPosts took notice, making the day of every entertainment news organization around the world with "Thanks for Watching Ted!".

To add a little salt to the wound, the "Like" came on Monday, which of course, was the anniversary of 9/11. Most people usually pull up those horrific videos of the planes hitting the towers. Well, watching porn is another, more comforting option, I guess. Probably better to be allegedly pleasuring yourself to a party of three (yep, it was one of those videos!) than disaster videos.

"There are a number of people on the team who have access on the account. It appears that someone inadvertently hit the like button. When we discovered the post, which was I guess an hour or two later, we pulled it down," Cruz said. "It was a staffing issue. And it was inadvertent, it was a mistake. It was not a deliberate act. We're dealing with it internally, but it was a mistake. It was not malicious."

Good thing the staffer likes straight porn. This would be a whole different ballgame if it went the other way.
