Saturday Shopping Can Leave You Longing for Home Delivery
I went shopping this Saturday like I do most weekends. The frustration level was very high as my short arms tried to reach items the store people put way to high.
Before I get to that though, look at this. This is what I saw as I sat down at the Blood Pressure Check machine.
For five minutes I get this kid staring at me. It was very unnerving! Not to mention the misplacement of the finger. Did they tell her, (or him), to do that? Did the photographer stick the finger in there, or did they just wait and snap?
Okay now off I go to get some chlorine, my pool turned green in a matter of minutes the other day and I had none of the correct chemicals at home. At the store I find that the kind I DID NOT want, was where I could reach. But....
The kind I DID want, was way at the top, and there was not a single tall salesperson around to help!
So I had to stand on the bottom shelf, stretch, and reach my fingers through the wire to inch the box to the edge and drop it on my face. I felt like one of those animal experiments to see if I could figure out how to get the treat!
Then it was over to the Orange Juice. My Dad likes lots of Pulp. Do you see it here? Bottom shelf, way in the back. I had to get on my hands and knees and practically crawl in the freezer! Then I had to get up again. There was a person in the freezer, I know she heard me grunting and groaning, but she did not lift a finger to help. She could have pushed the juice to the front!
You should have seen me crawling out, no, scratch that. That is something nobody should see!
The rest of the trip was pretty uneventful, except when I got home, there was nobody here so I had to cart those groceries into the house myself!
I think they time this stuff!
