It's a party starter. it's a go getter. it's a nice slice of rock and roll about rock and roll. One of a streak of rootsy, snappy meaty hits by John Camp Cougar Melloncamper during the eighties. And the videos a blast, one of those "let's recreate a sixties black and white dance show" videos that even Nirvana indulged in. And here's the ha ha thing: John didn't even wanna put the song on the record, fearing it was too light hearted but then, ""It was one of those absolute last-split-second decisions. I was only including it on the cassette and CD copies of Scarecrow as a bonus party track, but my manager loved the energy of it and I thought, 'Yeah! What the hell!'"

Hi five, that manager, for helping bringing this top ten hit from 1986 into our lives. Now let's kick off our shoes and maybe our pants and LET'S PARTY!

It's your K-101.7 SONG OF THE DAY!

Oh, and while you are here, check out this wacky bit of fun we done did!
