President Trump Orders Flags at Half Staff After Florida Shooting
President Trump spoke from the White House this morning addressing the nation in response to the mass shooting at a Florida High School.
The President has ordered all United States flags to be flown at half-staff at the White House and at all buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels throughout the United States through February 19th.
When flown at half-staff the U.S. Flag should first be hoisted to the peak for an instant, and then lowered to the half-staff position. The flag is meant to be hoisted to its peak once more before being lowered for the day.
