New USPS Stamps Honor Military Working Dogs

The U.S. Postal Service is taking time to honor our 4-legged military heroes with a new series of postage stamps!

The nations brave military working dogs are now part of a booklet of 20 stamps available now at your local post office. Each block of stamps features a German Shepherd, a Labrador retriever, Belgian Malinois, and a Dutch Shepherd. These breeds are commonly used as part of America's armed forces.

The canines appear on stamps that feature the detail of a white star. Red, White, and Blue and Gold represent the American Flag and the spirit of patriotism. The credit for the artwork goes to DKNG Studios and Art Director Greg Breeding did the work on the design.

The Postal Service doesn't get the benefit of tax dollars for funding and they rely on the sale of postage and shipping products to fund our mail delivery system. Next time you are at the post office ask about the new Patriot Canine stamps!
