Mungis Convenience Store in Temple Robbed Monday Night

The insanity of risking your life for a few hundred dollars has struck the city of Temple.

KWTX is reporting that Temple Police are on the lookout for two men who robbed Mungis convenience store Monday night.

The report came in around 10:20 p.m. The clerk was tied up and was robbed of their personal cell phone. The two men wore masks and gloves and were armed with handguns.

Besides the cell phone the robbers left with four cartons of Newports, and several hundred in cash.
