Man with Alzheimer’s Comes Alive With Family Dog

Anyone who's had to deal with Alzheimer’s Disease knows how devastating and heart breaking it can be. You've might have heard that homes for the elderly will have pets brought it on a regular basis. Some believe it helps people to interact.  Here's a video that just might prove that theory. This was shot by Lisa Abeyta.  Her father is struggling with Alzheimer's and has lost nearly all of his speech, but when the family dogs interacts with him, a magical reaction occurs.
