Man Points Gun at Police During Pasadena, Texas Traffic Stop

Police in Pasadena, Texas have released the identity of a man killed during a traffic stop after he pointed a gun at an officer.

The video above was shared by ABC13.com. Something just seems wrong from the get-go after the driver doesn't seem to want to stop for police after rolling a stop sign. The way he keeps his arm hidden from police is a red flag the minute he stands up next to the car.

The officer repeatedly asked the man to get back in the car when the driver points a gun at the officer. The officer opened fire, striking the driver almost immediately. Witnesses on the scene said the driver did shoot at police who returned fire killing the driver after firing at least 6 times.

The driver has been identified as 44-year-old Marco Antonio Saaveedra. He was shot near the intersection of Spooner and Southmore Avenue.
