Some companies have figured out that hiring 8 year olds in the Far East to work for slave wages is not good.  Sure it'll make that bottom line look amazing, but it’s a nightmare for P.R. once the bleeding hearts find out about it, which they will.  What to do, what to do?  A few companies have figured it out.  Slave wages in America.  Lets exploit the prison system!  Get r done!  Here’s a few items, "made in America", that are made by prisoners.

Some Colorado inmates make canoes that sell for $1,500 dollars.  Why?  Is it the labor, or the kick-backs that jack up the price?

Federal Prisoners make the human silhouette targets that the FBI and Homeland Security use for target practice.  Of course the prisoners could always escape so they could be the targets.

36 different prisons around the country make Braille books.  Hopefully they don’t jack up the price on those.  Can you rob someone blind if they start out that way?

And this one is my favorite.  When was the last time you bought lingerie?  Was it expensive?  Well, Victoria Secret and JC Penny have been using inmates at a South Carolina prison to sew their lingerie since the 1990s.  I admit, I don’t know much about the laced undies, other than they should look good, both, on your loved one, and in pile next to the bed.  But, if you’re paying more that 10 bucks, you’re getting screwed, and not in the good way.
