Killeen police are investigating a report of an armed robbery on Roy Reynolds Drive early Tuesday morning.

Chelsea Edwards with our news partner, KWTX-TV, reports that a man was robbed at gunpoint around 4 a.m. at the 1600 block of Roy Reynolds.

An employee at the B&C Convenience Store at 1600 North Roy Reynolds said that the victim entered the store shortly after the robbery and asked to use a phone, saying that someone had pointed a gun at him and demanded his wallet and cellphone.

The victim, who the employee described as being "shaken up", also claimed that the gun the robber was carrying was a shotgun.

The alleged robber was able to get away without incident and the victim was not harmed.

The robbery was still under investigation late Tuesday morning. Police did not release a description of the suspect.
