Killeen Man Dies After Wreck at Little River-Academy Dragway

A Killeen man is dead after he lost control of his car at Little River-Academy Dragway Friday night.

48-year-old Allen Mouton was making a single-car run shortly after 7 PM when his 2008 Ford Mustang Cobra struck a guard rail and rolled into a tree. The impact was reportedly so severe that it split the car in half.

Mouton was an Iraq War veteran once stationed at Fort Hood. In 2006, he and his brothers, Michael and Reginald, made national news after being deployed to the same combat zone in Iraq as part of the Army's Ironhorse Brigade.
