Killeen City Manager Ron Olson has announced his intent to appoint Charles Kimble as police chief according to a press release from The City Of Killeen.

Kimble has more than 25 years of law enforcement experience, having served with the Fayetteville, North Carolina Police Department for 20 years, the final five as assistant police chief.

Kimble is currently the police chief for the town of Spring Lake, North Carolina. He brings experience from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin Police Department and Fayetteville State University Police Department. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Liberty University and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from Central Texas College.
