Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Breaks $150M In First Weekend

This weekend saw only a single new major release in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. It managed to pull in just over $150 million total for it's first weekend.

With a budget of $170 million, it may seem like they still have a ways to go before hitting the "profitable" range. Jurassic  World, however, has already been showing for some time internationally.

The total lifetime gross for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is over $700 million. With that kind of return, I wouldn't be surprised if Universal is already halfway through production on Jurassic World 3: Dinos Take New York.

Incredibles 2 brought in another $80 million in its second weekend, which brings it's total lifetime gross to right at $350 million. Oceans 8 did $11 million in it's third week, good for the third overall spot this weekend.
