Oooh, that's my jam, YO! Well, of course it is, Bunky.  Back in the day they called them hooks, earworms, tunes so insistently catchy they lodged deep in your brain, most times against your will, tapping it's tail on the best part of your brain's pleasure center. Use to be this was accomplished with good solid things like a great melody, or a memorably worthwhile chorus.

However, in these times of modern time dark science has crept into our music.

I for one welcome our toe tapping alien masters.

I would suggest fighting this syndrome with a wider musical diet. Hop around the dial more. Be more musically adventurous. train your brain to be less prone to being spoon fed this drivel.
