I went to a wedding in Gatesville a few years back and a bad joke seems to have caught on... sort of.

I made a joke about all the graveyards that you have to pass to get to Gatesville. I said

Celebrate with all your living and dead relatives.

that they should have weddings in graveyards. There's already flowers everywhere, so that'll save some money. Some have benches, otherwise they can bring their own chairs so it'll have a picnic feel to it. Plus, you can celebrate with all your living and dead relatives. I was called sick. I should've been called a prophet.

Turns out I was just a little off. The new hot spot for weddings are actually funeral homes. That's right. Funeral homes/parlors are branching out. It seems that young people are not joining churches anymore, and since churches won't marry you unless you give them money, people need bigger venues to hold a weddings in. Then there's the cost of funerals. The prices are getting ridiculous, so more people are opting out of a lavish send off, and are going the cremation route. So funeral homes have opened their doors for happier occasions.
