G'day mate!

In this week's segment with Walter Hetzel and our Friday Friend ISO a Fur-ever Home, I raised the observation that we get a lot of Australian cattle dogs in the local Temple Animal Shelter. Walter explains why that is in the segment caputred in the video above so I hope you watch it and find out.

The video is also worth a look because you'll get to meet Jasmine, a sweeter pup you will probably not likely find. Jasmine was a turn in, and was impeccably groomed. She didn't smell like dog at all! I know that sounds kind of silly, given that dogs are supposed to smell like dogs. The previous owner apparently wanted to make a good impression. Mission accomplished.

Temple Animal Services is located at 620 Mama Dog Circle in Temple, just off 31st Street and Avenue H. To learn about adopting this dog or one just right for you and your family, click here for the City of Temple Website. They also have GIFT CERTIFICATES so your loved one can pick out the perfect pet of their own.

Be sure to listen in every Friday morning on K101.7 when Temple’s top Animal Services officer Walter Hetzel joins us in studio with another furry friend.

Our weekly segments with our pets of the week are brought to you by Rescue Magazine. All of the animal agencies in Central Texas are represented in this publication including Temple’s Animal Shelter.
