Free Lunch Friday Brings Blazing Good Barbecue for Temple Firefighters

We always love giving much respect to our public service workers. A few weeks ago, a fire broke out in a pile of wood next to our building. The pros from Temple Fire and Rescue were there almost instantaneously and, even though it was a minor event, it was still reassuring to know they were on the job.

Free Lunch Friday brought blazing Alvarez Barbecue to Temple Fire Station Number Five, 510 North Apache Street. Ten barbecue beef sandwiches, chips and drinks. These great guys fight what the rest if us fear, so a free lunch doesn't even begin to say "thank you" for their service.
