A benefit on 24 May 2014, in response to the shooting incident that affected our Fort Hood community on April 2nd.

Our interests are simple: to come together as a community of businesses, organizations, soldiers and veterans to raise funds through various means to assist those directly affected.
ALL proceeds from this and any connected events will be donated in the name of the community and our combined efforts by way of VFW Post 3892--a 501(c) non-profit--to the National Compassion Fund, which distributes those funds directly to the families and victims of the shooting.
We encourage all who are interested to join with us under this banner. We the COMMUNITY and we the VETERAN population of the Fort Hood/Killeen area are far too familiar with the impact these events can have on us all. We hope to have a variety of events and welcome any interested parties/organizations to contact us to join in the effort to assist the victims and their families in whatever manner we can.
