Elvis Dies on This Day in 1977 – Video Tribute

Hey Gang,

It's been 36 years, do you still remember what you were doing on this day in 1977 when Elvis Died?

He had suffered a coronary arrhythmia while taking his morning constitution at his home in Graceland.  At the time I thought he was old when he died, I mean 42 was at least 30 years away yet, now, I'm older than he is.

I was at my Grandparents farm, just a swingin' on swing set, when my Aunt Marianne came running out of the house screaming and crying that "he was dead".  I was afraid it was my Grandfather she was talking about, but when she said Elvis, I was like, "better him than Grandpa".  Never did understand the hysterics. Still don't when I see young girls going ga-ga over some singer.  Oh well, to each their own.  Enjoy some of the songs that made a nation morn when he crapped out. (too soon?)
