Couple Finds Millions in Gold Coins While Taking a Walk

Walking is good for you, even if you don’t like to exercise, go for a walk.  There is no telling what you will find, like maybe millions in gold coins!

That is what happened to a northern California couple.  They always walk the dog on their lovely rural property.  They usually cover the same ground.  Well this walk was different. This time they noticed something sticking out of the ground.  It was an old, rusty metal can, probably been buried there for years, but because of erosion it was sticking out.

They dug it out and found it to be very heavy.  They took it back to the house opened it and discovered GOLD Coins!!!!!

So they went back to the site and found more cans, each filled with GOLD coins.   The coins were in 5, 10, and 20 dollar denominations.  The kind of coins they used to use back in the 18 hundreds.  And these coins had never been circulated so they are now worth a lot more than 5,10 and 20 dollars.

How about 10 million dollars!

SAY WHAT!!!!!

The Couple found 1,427 coins, all from 1847 to 1894.  The couple's property is in the area where the California gold rush happened in the mid-1800s.

No I won’t give you their name…I don’t know it.  They prefer to remain anonymous.  They don’t want a hoard of metal detecting get rich wanna bes converging on their property.

They did agree to let coin-collecting expert Don Kagin tell the world about the find.

He of course is very excited.  He believes this is the most valuable buried treasure anyone's ever found in the U.S.
