If you're looking for a safe alternative to trick or treating, the City of Killeen will be hosting its annual Halloween Carnival tonight (Oct. 31) starting at 6:00 PM at The Special Events Center on W. S. Young Drive.

Activities include games, arts and crafts, a haunted house, pumpkin patch and much more free festive fun. Kids should dress in costume and bring a bag for candy.

Also, if you plan on going door to door trick or treating, the city recommends going between the hours of 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and you should only approach homes with porch lights on welcoming trick or treaters. For more information visit the city of Killeen's website.
