Cinemark Theaters Begin Nationwide Bag Ban

" target="_blank">Cinemark locations nationwide will no longer allow large bags inside their theaters. The nationwide bag ban is in place to help increase security.

If your bag or purse is larger than 12 x 12 x 6 then it will have to stay in the car. While there is no designated bag check area at Cinemark theaters, employees can and will check any bag that may be too large to bring inside. They are specifically hoping to keep out weapons and anyone trying to bring in outside food.

The new policy will include Cinemark theaters in Temple, Harker Heights, Round Rock, Pflugerville, and Cedar Park.
