The Ayala family returned home in Channelville, Texas only to be met by a gunman in their driveway.

The incident was all caught on a home surveillance system recording, and Jose and Elisa Ayala hope that getting the word out will help to catch the men who fled the scene after pointing a gun at the couple's children.

KPRC reports the video shows the family returning home when a vehicle rolls by slowly in front of the house and a man gets out and confronts the family at gunpoint. The Ayala family didn't know it at the time, but the gunman was simply attempting to distract the family while two other men carried out a robbery inside the home. It seems the Ayala family came home sooner than expected and almost walked inside to find their home being robbed.

The men robbing the home drove away in what is described as a black 4-door GMC truck, and a silver or gray Crysler 300. Anyone with information should call 713-333-TIPS.
