On this day in 1962, Robert Allen Zimmerman legally became Bob Dylan. He took the name from Poet Dylan Thomas. Singer, songwriter, guitar player, and he featured a harmonica in his performances.

And on this day in 1964, Billboard Magazine reported that the harmonica was making a comeback in a big way thanks to its use by Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, the Rolling Stones, and the Beatles.
